Penella, Mary J. (Bottini) of Quincy, died February 16, 2017. 

Beloved wife of the late Michael W. Penella.  Loving mother of Barbara Segadelli and her late husband Francis of Quincy, Michael W. Penella, Jr. and his wife Annette of Weymouth, Richard Penella of Quincy and John Penella and his wife Marianne of Marshfield. Devoted grandmother of Stephanie Segadelli, David Segadelli and his wife Kimberly, Matthew Penella and his wife Jessica and Lou Penella and great grandmother of Giuliana Segadelli.  Cherished sister of the late Mildred Hurley, Eleanor Bottini and John Bottini.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was always there lending a helping hand.  She enjoyed cooking, especially for her family.  Mary’s main passion in life was spending time with her family and dear friends.  She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
