Mary F. Glennon

Mary F. Glennon (Buckley) of Hingham, formerly of North Weymouth, died February 10, 2016 at the age of 86.

Mary worked as a history teacher at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree for ten years as well as several other diocesan schools. She served as a trustee for the Tufts Library in Weymouth for 15 years and was very active in lay ministry at St. Jerome’s Church in Weymouth. Her family was the focus of her life.

She was the beloved wife of William T. Glennon. Loving mother of John and wife Carol of Novato, CA; William F. and wife Norma of Gray, ME; Maryellen of Newton; Thomas and wife MaryAnn of Plymouth; Michael and wife Margie of Alexandria, VA; Joseph and wife Beth of Haddonfield, NJ; Patrick and wife Meredith of Rockland; and the late James. Sister of James Buckley of Quincy, and the late John and Thomas Buckley. Also lovingly survived by 18 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome’s Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Glennon may be made to St. Jerome’s School, 598 Bridge St., Weymouth, MA 02191.
