Tangney, Mary C. (Tangney) of Milton, died March 17, 2015.
Mary left us after a long struggle with ALS on March 17. She was 64 and lived most recently in Milton, MA. She will be remembered forever by her sister, Brenda Tangney Brown of Florida; brothers, Nicholas and Anthony Tangney of Quincy; niece, Kate and her husband Mehdi of Milton; nephew Chris and his wife Kitty of Hong Kong and nephew Ian and his wife Tessa of New York. Mary was also the beloved great-aunt of Rose, Bocar, Koli, EmmaRose, Ariana, Emery and Auden. She was a generous, hard-working woman, dedicated to her family and friends. She loved getting in shape, her cats (Duchess in particular), and had a great sense of humor and immense kindness and compassion for those she knew and many she didn’t through her numerous acts of charity.
Due to the Lenten period, flowers will not be permitted to be brought to church for the mass. Therefore (despite that Mary did love flowers) donations in lieu of flowers are requested to Compassionate Care ALS, 752 W Falmouth Hwy, Falmouth, MA 02540.
Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 4-8pm at Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy, with a Funeral Mass at St. Agatha, Milton at 10:30am on Saturday, March 28.
