Mary B. (Casna) Zumbahlen, age 91, of E. Weymouth, born, raised and educated in Quincy, passed away May 21, 2016. 

Beloved wife for 73 years of Fred E. Zumbahlen of E. Weymouth. Daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (McDermott) Casna.  Loving mother of Freddy of Weymouth, Gary and his wife Susan of Norwood and Janeece Zumbahlen of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Mark Zumbahlen and his wife Stephanie of Florida and Kara Zumbahlen of Norwood. Great grandmother of Jayden Zumbahlen.  Dear sister of Marjorie Slattery of Weymouth, Eldana Hoxie and her husband Bill of Sandwich, Anne Marie Casna Barton and her husband and David of Florida and the late Joseph, Robert, and Jimmy Casna and Doreen Mulder.  Sister-in-law of Bob Zumbahlen of Florida, Roger Zumbahlen of Texas, Billy Zumbahlen of Ohio, Helen Zumbahlen of Florida, Jeanne Casna of Kingston, Betty Tuck of Florida and the late Charles S. Zumbahlen.  She is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary worked for many years at Hunts News Agency, Grant’s Department store and Shoes-n-Bags in Columbian Square.  She was an active member of the Senior Citizen’s Recreation Club as well as the Whipple Senior Center.  Maryloved gardening, cooking and  traveling, but especially loved watching and cheering for her favorite Boston sports teams, the Red Sox and the Patriots. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:00 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
