Slattery, Marjorie P. of Weymouth, died December 11, 2018.

Marjorie worked for over 40 years for New England Telephone Company as a telephone operator. She was a member of the telephone pioneers and was also a  communicant at Immaculate Conception Church. Marjorie was an avid Patriots Fan and was also very generous, thoughtful, and giving in any which way she could. Marjorie will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of the late Francis E. “Jabber’ Slattery. Loving mother of Marilyn E. Slattery of Weymouth, Terrence M. Slattery and his wife, Cheryl, of Kapolei, Hawaii, and Brian F. Slattery and his wife, Jennifer, of Dove Canyon, CA. Sister of Eldana Hoxie of Sandwich and the late Mary Zumbahlen, Joseph Casna, Jr, Robert Casna, Doreen McNew, and James Casna. Grandmother of Tara E. Slattery of Belmont, and Terrence M. Slattery, Jr and his wife, Alisha of Weymouth. Dear friend of Diane Montgomery Mullin of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1-4PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living for their care and compassion during Marjorie’s stay with them.
