ENNIS, Marie Thornton (Bradley) of Sarasota, FL & N. Falmouth, MA passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018.  Age “Ageless”.  “A woman who tells her age would tell anything” was her motto. 

Love of his life for over 55 years to Edward G. Ennis. Devoted mother of Douglas E. Ennis of Monmouth, Maine and Lisa Ennis White of Sarasota, FL. Little sister to the late Jack Bradley and beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Bradley.  Beloved grandmother (“Re Re”) to Liam, Sophia, Sean, Ryon and Eryn.  

Marie had a master’s degree in Education from State Teacher’s College of Boston.  An elementary school teacher from Weymouth, MA. Still remembered to this day by former students who adored her.  Former elected Weymouth Library Trustee and first female Weights and Measures Officer in Weymouth, MA.  She worked in the Mayor of Boston’s office assisting in dignitaries & celebrity visits to Boston.  

Visiting hours will be held at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth, MA 02190 on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4-6 pm.  Funeral Mass will be Fri., July 20, 2018 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington Street, Weymouth MA.  Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston, MA.
