Marie C. (Buchanan) Proctor of East Bridgewater, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away July 27, 2016.

Daughter of the late James and Colette (Donahue) Buchanan.  Beloved wife of 26 years to Albert Proctor of East Bridgewater. Loving sister of Colette Buchanan of Carver. Cherished aunt of Michael and James Sullivan of Carver,  Holly McGowan of East Bridgewater, Jason Castellano of FL, Avery and Jordan Proctor of Ashland, Michele Arsenault and Dawn Ring both of Holbrook. Dear cousin of Judy Buchanan of Braintree.  

Marie was a dedicated employee for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 43 years, 23 of those years were spent working for the Massachusetts State Police as a secretary. She was a proud member of the Randolph Elks Lodge #2130. In her spare time she loved ballroom dancing, playing cards and traveling, especially to her favorite destination, Disney World in Florida. Marie was known to be an avid reader.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
