Marian J. (Hallahan) Joyce of Hingham, formerly of Quincy, died December 5, 2016.

Marian worked as a LPN for many years. Her extensive amount of charitable work includes volunteering on a survival hotline and Treasure Chest, driving for Road to Recovery and 20 years as a hospice volunteer. She was the President of the Squantum Womens Club and the wii bowling and spelling bee champion at Linden Ponds. Marian was also an avid reader and yard sale enthusiast. Marian was happiest when surrounded by the family and friends she was so devoted to. 

Beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Joyce. Devoted mother of Thomas E. Joyce and his wife Catherine of Weymouth,  Daniel M. Joyce and his wife Maureen of Boston and Teresa M. Joyce-Katzenberger and her husband Andrew. 

Cherished Nana of Kristen, Matthew, Ryan, Abby, Michael, Olivia, Sam and great-grandchildren Jimmy, Danny and James. Loving sister of David Hallahan and his wife Florence of West Roxbury and the late Frances Carleton and her husband Elliot. Also survived by many nieces and nephews the Hallahans, Andrea Carleton and the Berlo’s.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
