Dunn, Margaret R. “Peggy” (Healy) a long time resident of Hingham and parishioner of Resurrection Parish has passed away at home February 16, 2017 at the age 90.  

Beloved wife of 62 years of Francis L Dunn of Hingham, loving mother of Marie Catalane of Hull, Nancy DiFiore of Hull, and Kelly Turner and her husband Thomas of Hingham. Devoted “Nana” to Kali Hamel, Cara Catalane, and Benjamin and Bridget Turner. Predeceased by her loving parents, James and Bridget Healy and sisters Catherine Healy and Mary Boland. 

Born and raised in Dorcester and graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School Peggy worked as an administrative assistant for the John Hancock, Boston. After raising her children, she was also employed as a unit clerk on the pediatric unit at the South Shore Hospital, Weymouth. A talented singer and dancer, Peggy was a lover of all things “nature”, especially the flowers in her garden, birds in her yard, wonder and beauty of the ocean, and her beautiful Siamese cat, Holly. She relished the simple things in life and treasured her family and friends.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
