Margaret G. (Geyer)  Wicklund of Braintree, formerly of Abington, died November 10, 2017.

The beloved wife of the late Carl A. Wicklund. Loving mother of Peter Wicklund and his wife Eileen of North Berwick, ME, Jean Mortimer and her husband Daniel of Seabrook, NH, Richard Wicklund and his wife Susan of Abington and Allan Wicklund and his wife Maria of Plymouth. Sister of Lucille Bowman of CT. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was passionate about cooking, sewing and gardening. She was an avid reader.  A volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program as well as the Abington Visiting Nurse Assoc. The foundation of her life was her family. She cherished each of them. Margaret will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother and a cherished grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those who were fortunate to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square) on Saturday, December 2  there will be a visitation on Saturday  morning from 9:15 – 9;45am prior to the Funeral Service beginning  at 10 AM.  Burial will be private.
