Keohane Funeral Home

Coughlin, Margaret A. (Palma) of Quincy, died May 9, 2017, at the age of 95.  

Born in 1922, she was the daughter of Francesco Palma and Caterina (Mangano) of Palermo, Sicily.  Margaret was a life-long Quincy resident.  

Predeceased by beloved husband Gerald G. Coughlin.  Sister of the late John Palma, Angie Nota, Frank Palma, Joseph Palma, Rita Hamlin, Robert Palma, Catherine Landry, and Russell Palma.  Sister-in-law to Virginia Palma of Quincy and Eleanor Palma of Dedham.  Survived by her daughters: Catherine Marchant and her husband, Edward of Brookline, and Deborah Blanchard and her husband, James of Framingham.  

Loving “Nana” to her grandchildren: Eliot Marchant and his wife Leigh of Larchmont, NY, Cameron Marchant and his wife, Nora of Boston, Katherine Blanchard of Sudbury, and Tricia Blanchard of Framingham.  Adoring “Nana” to her great grandchildren: Quinn and Eliza Marchant of Larchmont, NY.  Aunt Dolly to many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
