 Mrs. Majdis (Anderson) Flynn, of North Weymouth, passed away on May 14, 2017. 

She was a graduate of Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing, worked briefly at National Fireworks in Whitman, and was a Registered Nurse for 30 years at Lahey Clinic. During WWII, she served as a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps. Majdis enjoyed spending time with her family and had a passion for gardening and word search puzzles.

Daughter of the late John and  Hulda Anderson.  Beloved wife of the late Edmund Flynn. Loving step-mother of Kathy Flynn, Marion Flynn, Evelyn Mavilia and the late Alton Flynn. Sister of the late Howard Anderson, late Johannes ‘Holger” Anderson, and his late wife Lucille, late Charles Anderson and his late wife Janette, late Gladys Eckblom and her late husband, Bert, late Evelyn Tribou and her late husband, Bob, late Harold Anderson and his wife, Mildred, Walter Anderson and his late wife, Dorothy, Mildred Grant and her late husband, Robert, Ella and Warren McKinnon, and Arthur and Annette Anderson. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be celebrated on  Saturday, May 20th,  at 10 AM  at Faith Lutheran Church, 201 Granite Street, Quincy.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
