Louise R. Marciano

Marciano, Louise R. (DiVito) of Hull, died March 3, 2015. 

Beloved wife of Frank Marciano of Hull. Loving mother of Peter Marciano and his wife Ann of Hull.  Loving grandmother of Angela Marciano, Michelle Shapiro and her husband Joel, and Michael Marciano.  Loving daughter of the late Nazzareno and Georgina DiVito of Hull.  Loving sister of Nazzareno DiVito, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Teresa Cogliano and her late husband Vincent, Virginia Orfao and her husband John, Joseph DiVito and his late wife Lynda; all of Hull, and the late Mary Jones and her husband Edward of S. Carolina.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was always cooking up something delicious in her kitchen.  Those Sunday get-togethers were wonderful. Louise was a very religious woman who was blessed with a miraculous cure from kidney failure at the young age of 30. She was cured after drinking holy water from LaSalette Shrine that her husband had brought to her.

She was a 10 year Boston Area coordinator of the “National Pilgrim Statue of St. Mary” for custodians Al and Betty Williams, was a longtime member of the Hull and Hingham rosary groups, a “Third Order of Mary” member, a Girl Scout Leader, the owner of EZ Credit Check, and former Legal Secretary for lawyers in Hull, Hingham and Somerville. 

Louise produced 619 episodes of the “Fatima Today” show of which many are still being seen on YouTube.  Thanks to all her many supporters who helped as hosts, guests, writers, editors, and camera personnel. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11 AM.  A spring burial will take place at a later date.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louise may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Parish at St. Ann’s Church, 208 Samoset Avenue, Hull, MA 02045.
