The focus of Liesl’s life has always been her family and being of service to others. While her daughters were young she formed lifelong friendships with countless families while supporting every one of the girls activities. This led to a larger role in the community in support of others, whether it was the North Quincy High School Boosters Club or Autism Speaks or any number of groups that needed capable volunteers, Liesl was there. Her career as a social worker spanned 25 years. She worked for 8 years at the Department of Transitional Assistance and 17 years at Father Bill’s & MainSpring, where she was able to help people with her generous and giving spirit. Liesl never gave up hope and was an example of courage for her family and community. She will be remembered as a giving and caring person who always put others before herself.
