Lawrence F. Conlin

Conlin, Lawrence F. “Larry”, lifelong resident of Weymouth, died August 8, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Larry worked for Republic Services, formally B.F.I, for 33 years. He was a dedicated member of the Teamsters Local 25. He was an avid Nascar fan and looked forward to father-daughter weekends at the track. He also enjoyed his early morning rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Larry was proud of the active role he played in his granddaughter’s life. He showed this by being there for her no matter how big or small the momentous occasion was. He was never happier than when spending time with family by the lake in Maine. He will be dearly missed.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Marie (Nista) Conlin, devoted father to daughter Amy Conlin, treasured grandfather to Courtney Hardy, all of Weymouth. Son of the late Francis and Laura (Baker) Conlin). He is also survived by brothers-in-law Dominick Nista and his wife Betsy, of Plymouth, Robert Nista and his companion Jan Leone, of Weymouth, and sister-in-law Cynthia Nista Marini, also of Weymouth. He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
