Kevin M. “Vern” Long of Wareham, formerly of Weymouth, died October 27, 2018 at the age of 37.

Kevin was a sheet metal worker and proud union member of Local 17.

He was the loving son of Joanne T. Long of Wareham and Richard Long, Sr. and wife Beatrice of Hull. Loving brother of Kathleen Long and partner Charlie Ward of South Weymouth, Richard Long, Jr. and wife Mary of Bridgewater, Thomas Long and wife Tammy of Abington, Eddie Long and wife Taryn of Weymouth, and David Long of Wareham. Also lovingly survived by 6 nieces and nephews and his cherished dog Miley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to Hull Seaside Animal Rescue, 487 Nantasket Ave., Hull, MA 02045.
