Katherine M. Robak

Robak, Katherine M. “Kay” (Fisher) of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died May 18, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.

Born in Boston, Kay was raised in South Boston and later moved to Dorchester to raise her family. She worked for many years at Shawmut Bank and later working for the Quincy Public Schools at the Daniel Webster Middle School. Kay enjoyed reading, travelling, taking trips to Mohegan Sun and always enjoyed spending time with her beautiful children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of 59 years to the late  Edward C. Robak, Sr. Loving mother of Edward Robak and his wife, Catherine, of Weymouth,  Susan Doyle and her husband, Michael, of Quincy, Janet Glennon and her husband, William, of Easton, Richard Robak and his wife, Janet, of Weymouth, and Kim Holland and her husband, Robert, of Jamestown, R.I. Sister of Emily Diamond of Weymouth and the late Phyllis Patelli and Joseph Fisher. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
