Mrs. Julia G. (Higgins) Goodwin, of Weymouth, passed away on May 12, 2022.  Beloved wife of David R. Goodwin of Weymouth. 

Loving mother of Susan P. Perrin and her husband, Jason, of Whitefield, NH. Sister of Ward Higgins of Weymouth and the late Roberta Dodge and Ralph Higgins. 

Cherished Grammy to Kristen and Nicholas Routhier. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren, Amaya Meeks, Ava Marsh, Aria Marsh, Addyson Marsh, Alexandria Routhier, Amira Graham, Noah Routhier and Trinity Routhier. 

She was a nurse by trade but a true caregiver for anyone whom she crossed paths with. Julie loved spending time with her family.  A big part of her grandchildren’s lives, she was their biggest fan always with words of encouragement.  Loved to travel, camp and loved to laugh and dance she lit up a room with her smile. She will be sadly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, May 18th, from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at 10:45 AM  in MA National Cemetery, Bourne. Please arrive at the funeral home at 9 am to leave in procession.
