Sullivan, Joseph F., Sr. of Quincy, died November 11, 2017.

Joe loved his family and adored his late wife Patricia. He would visit her grave everyday for 10 years until he was no longer able. His faith was important to him and he enjoyed classical music, baking brownies and fudge, and working in his garden. He retired from Boston Gear Works after working there for many years. Joe was a very helpful man who was always there for anyone. He was well liked and a great friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Cahill) Sullivan. Loving father of Joseph F. Sullivan Jr. of Worcester, Peggy Dooling of Weymouth, Donna Corson of Quincy, David Sullivan of NH, and the late Theresa White and Deborah Scanlon. Cherished grandfather of Larry White, Patti Dooling, Shawn White, Fred Corson, Shanna Dooling, Eric Sullivan, Kerri Sullivan, Kevin Scanlon, and the late Kyle Sullivan and Jason Michael Sullivan. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joe may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
