Donovan, Joseph of Woburn, died June 17, 2017.

Joe loved the Red Sox, Dunkin Donuts, music, and singing. He was very involved in the Special Olympics in his younger years and enjoyed going to his day program with his friends. Joe was a kind and gentle soul who was always happy and loved life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Brother of the late Eleanor Papile, Marie Parsons, James Donovan, Gertrude Kelley, and Richard Donovan. Survived by his niece Mary Murray and her husband Tom of Hanover, grand nephews Christopher and Matthew Murray, and many other nieces, nephews, close friends, and care givers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joe may be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036-3604.
