John T. Ahl

Mr. John T. Ahl, of Weymouth, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on December 19, 2022. He was 57. 

Born in Jamaica Plain, a son of the late Charles and Catherine (McNulty) Ahl, John had lived in Weymouth for many years. John had worked for the past 35 years as a plumber for Local # 12. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, water skiing, fishing, going to the Gunrock Beach, and his favorite time of the year was 4th of July.

John was also a wonderful hockey coach for many years.  John was most happy spending time with his beautiful wife, Laurie and he just adored his 4 children and just being a great dad. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. 

Beloved husband of 26 years to Laurie A. (O’Brien) Ahl. 

Loving father of Marion Ahl, Lillian Ahl, Jaclynn Ahl, and Thomas Ahl all of Weymouth.

Cherished and great brother to Patricia Canova and her husband, Joe, of Weymouth, Elaine Smith and her husband, Douglas of Hanson, Richard Ahl and his wife, Paula, of Hull, Charles Ahl, Jr and his wife, Pamela of Scituate, Kathleen Ingoldsby and her husband, Clark of Hull, and Christine Tower and her husband, Bruce, of Weymouth. 

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, December 22nd, from 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). 

A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth on Friday, December, 23rd at 10 AM. 

Burial will be private.
