John J. Chisholm

Chisholm, John J. “Chiz” of Carver, OFD, died December 28, 2022.  

John loved his family, especially his wife Ann Marie who he has known since they were 10 years old. He had a passion for 70’s music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was a proud of his sobriety and worked in maintenance at Boston Medical Center. John was a warm, loving, and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him. 

Beloved husband of Ann Marie Chisholm of Carver. Son of the late Edward and Eileen Chisholm. Father of John Joseph and stepdad of Sandra Moulaison and her husband Robert of Framingham and Brian Carney of Natick. Brother of Joyce Mason and her husband Richard of Mexico, NY, Thomas Chisholm and his wife Nancy of Cape Coral, FL, and the late Edward Chisholm and his surviving wife Diane of Braintree and the late Maureen Chisholm of Weymouth. Step grandfather of Kyle Moulaison. Best friend of Dottie Gertsch of Lincoln, NE. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his African grey parrot Ruby.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
