Joan Beaudoin Marks

Joan Beaudoin Marks (Rieker) of Weymouth, died February 4, 2016 at the age of 94.

Joan was an active parishioner of St. Jerome’s Church in Weymouth for over 90 years and was a longtime member of the St. Jerome’s Women’s Guild Bowling League.

Beloved wife of the late G. Lowell Marks and the late Gerard L. “Buster” Beaudoin. Loving mother of Gerard & Suellen Beaudoin of Weymouth; Mary & Paul Cordeiro of Abington; Thomas Beaudoin of Quincy; and Margaret & William Morin of Hanover. Stepmother of Susan Marks & Dorinda Burlin of Marshfield; Steve Marks of Quincy, Edward & Patricia Marks; Robert Marks & Linda Sorrentino; Nancy Marks; Jennifer & George Kelley; and Jeffrey Marks all of Weymouth; Laura & Richard Demary of Chelmsford; Annmarie & Jeff Volpe of Pittsfield, NH; and Andrew & Marguerite Marks of Pittsburgh, PA. Sister of Anne Ward of Kingston, the late Eileen LeBlanc and the late Patricia Byrne. Cherished “Nana” of Heather, Amy, Elyn, Evan and great granddaughters Claudia and Ava as well as many step grandchildren and great granchildren.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Joan may be made to Helping Hands for the Plymouth Animal Shelter, 2199 State Rd., Plymouth, MA 02360.
