Jerry F. McGillivray

McGillivray, Gerald F. “Jerry” of Boston, died May 15, 2018.

Predeceased by his parents the late Donald and Mary “Viola” McGillivray.  Cherished friend of Cindy and Bob Sullivan  of Hingham, Peggy and Jay Gamel of Milton, Philip Anastos of Watertown and all his South End family.

Jerry grew up in the South End and was a life long resident of Boston.  He was a United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era.  Jerry worked as a finished carpenter and later on in life as a bartender at the Intermission in the theater district.  He enjoyed walking down the Marina and getting a beautiful view of the city.  Jerry was a kind, compassionate man who will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 29th at 10 AM  in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.

In lieu of lowers donations in memory of Jerry may be made to Marina Bay, Residents Council Fund, 2 Seaport Drive, Quincy, MA 02169.
