Scanlon, Jenny E. (Mattson) of Quincy, died March 29, 2015 in her 102 year of life. 

Jenny was born and raised in Quincy, where she graduated from Quincy High School.  She was the proprietor of Larry’s Lunch in Quincy for many years.  Jenny enjoyed playing cards, bowling, dancing, going on long walks and bird watching. Her main passion was her family and spending time with those she loved. Jenny will be sadly missed.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Scanlon and her beloved children Thomas J. Scanlon Jr., Mary E. (Scanlon) Maher, Richard J. Scanlon and Edward M. Scanlon. Loving mother-in- law of Maureen E. Meskimen of Auburndale.  Devoted nana of Elizabeth M. (Maher) Doyle and her husband James of Hanover and Peter J. Maher of Somerville. Cherished great Nana of Lauren, Joseph, Katie and Julia Doyle, all of Hanover.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Blessing in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
