Jeffrey W. Connors

Jeffrey W. Connors, of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Seasons Hospice in Milton. He was 57.

Born in Boston he was raised in South Boston and was the son of the late John and Patricia (Ford) Connors. Jeffrey attended local schools and graduated high school with the Class of 1980.

Jeffrey served in two careers, first as a roofer and then as a substance abuse councilor with The Gavin Foundation, Inc. out of South Boston. Jeffrey was a compassionate, caring and all around good guy. People knew that they could depend on him and felt comfortable in his presence.

In his spare time, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His family was the most important part of his life and he loved being a father and grandfather.

Jeffrey’s courageous spirit, love and influence serve as his legacy that continues through his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all the lives he touched.

Jeffrey was the devoted father of Kristen Connors of Quincy, Taylor Connors of Texas, Chloe Connors of Dorchester and Aidan Connors of Norton. He was the dear brother of James Connors of Weymouth, Joseph Connors and his wife Cheryl of Rockland, Jacqueline Connors of South Boston, Jay Connors of Texas and the late John Smith. Jeffrey is also survived by his former wife, Susan Connors of Braintree, four cherished grandchildren, his life long friend and devoted companion, Tracy Bent and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, October 1st 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday, October 2nd prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Interment is private.
