Copson, Jeanne M., of Quincy, died April 16, 2015. 

Jeanne’s family meant the world to her and she was especially proud of her siblings, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  She enjoyed reading and crochet work, including her beautiful sweaters and afhgans.  Family gatherings at Amherst, NH and Baboosic Lake, NH, were special throughout her entire life.  Jeanne worked for over forty years as a secretary at Dawson-MacDonald, Inc. in Wilmington, MA, retiring last October.  She will be remembered for her sense of humor, generosity, kindness and inquisitive nature. 

Beloved daughter of the late Robert J. Copson, Sr. and Laurena C. (Sherlock).  Loving sister of Catherine L. Rowan and her late husband Peter J. Rowan of Sudbury, Paul J. Copson of Quincy and his former wife Frannie Copson of Holbrook, Anne T. Fitzgerald and her husband Timothy Fitzgerald of Blackstone and the late Robert J. Copson, Jr., and Joseph P. Copson.  Jeanne was the godmother of Anne T. Fitzgerald, Timothy P. Fitzgerald, Jr., and Jenna Lee Sherlock.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sr. Dorothy Copson, 96 Menands Road, Albany, NY, 12204, to be used for the Benefit of the children of St. Catherine’s Center for Children.
