Taylor, Jean T . “Wegie”  of Hingham, died May 18, 2017.

Loving mother of  Heather Menzies Taylor-Poyant  and her husband Leonard of Cranston RI and Susan Parsons and her husband Michael of FL. Grammy to Evelyn and Anita  Poyant, Corynne, Briana and Rondall Burrows and Hannah Parsons. Cherished sister of Sharon Morrison and her husband Ralph of Hingham, Frances Falvey and her husband Bob of Kingston and Susan Margetts and her husband David of Hingham. Jean is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A longtime Hingham resident, Jean graduated from Hingham High School and attended Northeastern University. She worked as a consultant in computer operations as well as a technical typist. A devout catholic, her faith and her family were the foundation of who she truly was. Known to everyone by her nickname “Wegie”, she will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, June 2 from 8:30-10:30 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers,  the family asks that you honor Jean’s last wishes, which were to enjoy some nice time out with your family.
