Keohane Funeral Home

Bentley, Jean Marie “Gina” of Elgin, SC formerly of Quincy, passed suddenly on October 18, 2016. 

The beloved mother of Arthur Bentley and his wife Michelle of Lugoff, SC, Mark Bentley and his wife Pam of Quincy, and Joseph Bentley of Elgin, SC. Cherished Mimi of Kortney, Alyssa, Veronica, Victoria and Vivian Bentley. Daughter of the late Giovanni Palmieri and the late Domenica (Fantini) Palmieri.  Sister of Julia Magliozzi of Dorchester, John Palmieri and his wife Patricia of Hingham, Robert Palmieri and his partner Katrin Ents of Auburn, sister in law of Nancy Palmieri of VA.  Sister to the late Richard Palmieri of VA and Mark Palmieri of CA.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gina was a long time Quincy and Dorchester resident before moving to South Carolina.  She worked for Stop and Shop for more than 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, baking & taking long drives. She will be remembered for her great laugh, her wonderful smile, her dedication to her family and her giving heart. Although her family is heart broken at her sudden passing they feel fortunate for all the blessings she brought into their lives. She will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 9:00am-10:30am at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy followed by a Celebration of Life Service Saturday at 11am at the Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
