Murphy, Jane M. (McDonough) of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, died May 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Jane had a generous, kind heart and her family was the foundation of her happiness. She was a lifelong Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods. She will be dearly missed.  

Beloved wife of Joseph Murphy of Braintree. Devoted mother of Amy Watson and her husband Peter of Weymouth and Joseph Murphy III and his fiance Jessica of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of Ava Jane. Loving sister of Thomas McDonough and his wife Patricia of Readville, Ann Higgins of North Attleboro, Jack McDonough and his wife Mary of Milton, and the late Paul and Emmett McDonough. Sister in law to Marie McDonough of Squantum and Katherine McDonough of Braintree. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 3-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
