Burdick, James E., Jr. of Framingham, MA; formerly of North Kingstown, RI; Burlington, CT; and S. Weymouth, MA died April 19, 2015 at the age of 73.
Jim grew up in Newton, MA and graduated from Newton High School. He then served in the United States Marine Corps. After an honorable discharge, he began his career in information technology. He loved music and sang in the choir at St. Bernard Church in North Kingstown. Jim took part in a five year research study in hopes of helping others suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Beloved husband of Maureen R. (Killoran) Burdick. Loving father of William J. of Boston, Lynn of Natick and Janet L. Whittaker and husband Scott of Waymart, PA. Grandfather of Briana Russo and husband Nicholas, and Derek P. Brown, all of Natick, and Tashya M. and Morgan A. Krom, both of Wethersfield, CT. Brother of Sue Villavicencio and husband Leonel of Potomac, MD.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge St., N. Weymouth on Thursday, June 4 at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, N. Weymouth.
