Jacqueline R (Callahan) Smith of Weymouth, passed away May 13, 2022.

She was the beloved mother of Adrienne and Lisa Smith of Weymouth, Leo Smith and Aun Khongkhai of Weymouth, and Melissa Deady and Steve of Quincy. She was the dear sister of Dianne Anastasio of Canton. Also lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren; Erik, Nadine and Mark  Smith, Kayla and Brooke Deady, Ava Khongkhai, and the Late Baby Leo. Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her former daughter in law Naomi Smith and many other friends and extended family members.

Originally from South Boston, Jacqueline graduated from South Boston High School before attending Northeastern University and earning her bachelor’s degree in Criminology. She was employed for the courts before beginning work as a Private Investigator and eventually starting her own Private Investigation business. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was caring for her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
