Clegg, Isabel M. (Cataldo) of Weymouth, died peacefully at home July 11, 2018.

Isabel grew up in Dorchester, graduating from Gate of Heaven High School. She attended Mount Ida College and Boston State Teacher’s College before teaching in Boston Public Schools for 25 years. Isabel was a member of the Boston Teacher’s Association and a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling, especially wintering in Florida, shopping and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Clegg, Sr. Devoted mother of Thomas E. Clegg, Jr., Michael Clegg, Christopher Clegg, Francis Clegg, Gerardene Clegg and Mark Clegg. Cherished Grammie of 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law of Stephen Clegg and Kuang Kim. Survived by her cousins and many nieces and nephews. Also lovingly survived by her dog Bella.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
