Mr. Herbert L. Caldwell, of Weymouth, passed away on August 2, 2018.

Herbert was a Weymouth Firefighter for 34 years until his recent retirement in December. He was the former president of the Weymouth Historical Society, and also a member of the Holbrook Sportsman Club. Herbert always enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling to Maine.

Husband of Lynn E. (Bardsley) Caldwell. Father of  Melinda A. Caldwell of Weymouth, Christopher A. Caldwell of Braintree, Zachary T. Caldwell of Weymouth, and Joshua A. Caldwell of Weymouth. Grandfather of Annaleigh LaJeunesse. Son of the late Herbert and Eileen (Conant) Caldwell. Brother of Candace Magner of Lynn. Son in law of Elaine Bardsley and the late Norman of Pawtucket, R.I. Brother in law of Eric Bardsley and his wife, Rebecca, of Cranston, R.I. Uncle of John Magner and Emily and Ben Bardsley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 12 PM-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
