Henry Walter Lysakowski

Lysakowski, Henry Walter of Quincy, died May 28, 2015.

Beloved husband of Virginia (Daley) Lysakowski of Quincy.  Loving father of Carol “Liza” Stevens and her husband George of Alton Bay, New Hampshire and Steven Lysakowski and his wife Michelle of Dorchester and the late Mark H. Lysakowski.  Brother of Jennie Bornstein of Weymouth and the late Clara Cannon and Louie and Ray Lysakowski.   Cherished grandfather of Christopher Stevens, Katie Gosselin, George Stevens, III, Michael Stevens and Mark, Anna and Alex Lysakowski.

Henry was born in New Britian, Connecticut and lived in Weymouth before settling in Quincy where he raised his family and lived for the past 65 years.  He was a heavy duty truck driver for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed boating and projects around the house, fixing just about anything from cars to woodworking.  Henry was a member of the Polish American Club in South Boston and was a proud  United States Navy Veteran serving in both WWII and The Korean Conflict.  Most of all Henry loved his family who were the cornerstone of his life, he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45amTuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
