Harry E. Pearse, Jr.

Harry E. Pearse, Jr. of Hingham, died peacefully on March 2, 2019 at the age of 80 surrounded by his family.

Harry grew up in New Hampshire and had a lifelong connection with nature. He enjoyed fishing, wildlife and even raised hawks when he was young. After High School graduation, Harry worked at the Appalachian Mountain Club before joining the military. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and met his wife while stationed in Germany. They later settled in Hingham where Harry worked as a mortgage officer for Hingham Institution for Savings. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, was actively involved in both youth hockey and baseball and many church activities. Family was the center of Harry’s life and he cherished spending time with those he loved. He brought a smile to the faces of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

He was the beloved husband of Christiane (Linder) Pearse. Loving father of Michael C. Pearse of Chelmsford and Andrea K. Pearse of Brockton. He was also the proud “Opa” to three treasured grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday from Noon to 1:30 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
