Hans William Theerman, aged 76, born on November 11, 1946, in Berlin, Germany, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023, in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

            With reverence to his service, Hans was a proud member of the US Air Force, where he served his country with honor and distinction. Following his military career, he traveled extensively and left no stone unturned. Thereafter he devoted himself to a life of spiritual guidance and care as a Pastor, from his years at Trinity Bible College in North Dakota where he met his wife Diana, to his 20+ year career as a missionary in Berlin, Germany.

            Hans leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment to his family, who will miss him profoundly. He is survived by his cherished children, Katherine (Andy) Peterson, Matthew (Rebecca) Theerman, and Ryan (Brooke)Theerman, and his adored grandchildren Calvin, Cecilia, Elyse, Valerie, Jude, and his newest grandchild expected in the near future, as well as many beloved family. His life was further blessed by the memories of those who went before him: his mother Charlotte, father William, sister Marilyn, and his dear wife Diana.

            A service to honor the life and memory of Hans will be held at the Church of Abundant Life in Braintree, MA, on April 13th, 2024, at 10 am. The service will be immediately followed by the interment at High Street Cemetery in Hingham, MA. Keohane Funeral Home is overseeing the arrangements.

            In remembrance of Hans William Theerman, we are comforted by the knowledge that his spirit and the values he embodied will continue to guide us. May he rest in eternal peace.
