Greta J. (Johnson) Falvey of Hull and Naples, FL (formerly of Hingham), passed peacefully February 15, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. Quick of Wit, Warm of Heart. Originally from Dorchester where she raised her family, Greta worked for the Gillette Company in South Boston for many years. She lived by the water most of her life and could often be found sitting at the beach enjoying a good mystery. She was proud to take an active role in the daily lives of each of her grandchildren. Greta will be remembered for her generous love, sense of humor and selflessness.

Beloved wife of the late William F. Falvey. Devoted mother of William Falvey of Quincy, Bobby Falvey and his wife Sheila of VA, Paul Falvey BFD and his wife Christine of Hanover, KarenAnn Vardaro and her husband Robert of Hingham and John Falvey of Hull. Cherished Nana of Erin, Mary, Cameron, Hannah, Evan, Elise and great-grandson Henry. Loving sister of the late Paul Johnson.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Greta dearly.

A special thank you to mom’s hospice angels, Teddi, Amanda, Kristin, Barbara and Elizabeth for the compassion and dignity you gave my mom in these last few weeks.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday February 18^th  2-6PM  in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Burial will be private.
