Gregory J. McIntyre

McIntyre, Gregory J. (61) of Braintree, passed away August 8, 2017 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma.

Greg grew up in North Weymouth, later settling down in Braintree. Greg and his brother Bob co-owned their own construction business; McIntyre Brothers. He was a man of strong faith and had a passion for helping others. He was always there to lend a hand to those in need no matter how large or small the task. Greg always looked forward to the fall, as he was a huge Patriots and Bruins fan. He enjoyed going out to dinner on the weekends, gardening and above all, spending time with his family. He was a strong presence who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Beloved husband to his high school sweetheart and wife of 43 years, Deborah (Back) McIntyre of Braintree. Loving father of Jeffrey J. and his significant other Barbara Mofford of Weymouth, Matthew G. and his wife Shannon of Weymouth and Cheryl J. and her significant other Timothy Turner of San Diego, CA. Dear brother of John, Robert, and Mary (Ford). Predeceased by his brother David. Proud Grampy of Aluralyn. Also survived by many Sister and Brother in Laws, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in Community Baptist Church, Weymouth. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
