Campbell, Gertrude A. (Lucas) of Dorchester, died December 5, 2016.  

Gertrude adored her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, coloring, cooking, and scratch tickets. She worked as a lunch aide for 25 years at the Lucy Stone Elementary School in Dorchester. Gertrude was a kind, funny, and beautiful woman with a lot of patience. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved wife of 52 years to George Campbell, Sr. of Dorchester. Cherished mother of Judy Kodzis and her husband Joe of Marshfield, Stephen Campbell of Dorchester, George Campbell, Jr. of Dorchester, Maryann Moreno and her husband John of Haverhill, Kevin Campbell of Dorchester, and Wayne Campbell and his wife Roseanne of Winthrop. Loving sister of the late Rita Greene, Pauline Abdon, and Robert, Frederick, and Paul Lucas. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Dorchester,  at 10 AM.
