Frances M. Riley

Frances M. (Campbell) Riley of Norfolk, formerly of Braintree and Quincy, passed away on August 1, 2017 at the age of 91.

Born in Milton, a daughter of the late John and Marion (Kappler) Campbell.  A graduate of North Quincy High School, Fran married her high school sweetheart, Daniel F. Riley.  She was a member of the Braintree Women’s Club, actively involved with the Braintree Drum and Bugle Corp and also enjoyed gardening, bowling and dancing with Dan.  She was enthusiastically involved in organizing North Quincy High reunions for the classes of 1944 and 1945.  Fran cherished the time she and Dan spent on the Cape in Eastham with their family.

Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Daniel F. Riley. Loving mother of Daniel F. Riley and his wife, Claire, of Braintree, Karen Shea and her husband, Dan, of Plymouth, Linda Kramer and her husband, Rich, of Avon, Lauren Grady and her husband, Rich, of Boxborough, and Jeffrey Riley and his wife, Reda, of Medford, NJ. Sister of Doris Kittis of New Jersey. Proud Grandma to Ashlie, Julie, Amy, Daniel, Michael, Christopher, Bryan, Douglas, Erika, Dennis, Brianna, Kevin, Alicia, Jacob, and Rebecca. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18, opposite South Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
