Evelyn Lamberti (Marie) 76, passed away peacefully after a brief illness.  She is survived by her daughters Maria Lamberti of Weymouth, Kathy Kenney of Weymouth, Cindy Ball of Holbrook, and the late Steven Lamberti of Quincy. Five siblings, Shirley Chenault of Missouri, Andrew LeGrice of North Carolina, Kenny LeGrice of New Hampshire, Roy LeGrice of New Hampshire, Theresa LeGrice of Quincy and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Anthony, Nicole, Robert, Christopher, Kelsey, and 2 great grandchildren Chrystal, and Arianna.

Evelyn (Marie), was a strong woman who put a lot of love and care into all that she did.  Especially when it came to her family and close friends.  Family was very important to Marie and she would drop anything at any time for them.She enjoyed attending family gatherings, celebrations and holidays.  “Grandma” or “Grammy” also loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up, and being there for all of their special milestones.

In addition to spending time with her family, Marie had different hobbies.  She enjoyed going to plays, seeing movies, trying new recipes (especially soup recipes), traveling, and most importantly sewing.  Marie was very talented with a needle, thread, and a sewing machine.

Marie will be missed in so many ways, but more importantly for the love, guidance and support she provided her family with.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Quincy.  Donations in memory of Marie may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
