Capraro, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Jason) of Hingham formerly of Duxbury and Falmouth died January 18, 2018.

Beloved wife of 51 years to Albert “Al” Capraro of Hingham.  Loving mother of Dr. Geoffrey A. Capraro and his wife Dr. Summer Getzen of Southboro and Peter J. Capraro and his wife Kerrie of Duxbury.  Devoted Grandmom of Quinn, Cameron, Reilly and Oscar.   Cherished sister of Barbara Hunter of Marlboro and the late Patricia O’Brien.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betsy graduated from Boston State College and later received an Advance paralegal certification from Rivier College.  She worked as a middle school French teacher before becoming a multi unit Dunkin Donut franchise owner.  She was an avid reader, writer and painter.  Betsy enjoyed bird watching, marjohn and volunteering for Religious education.  Her main passion in life was spending time with those she loved.  Betsy will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
