Howard, Elizabeth A. of Charlestown, passed away on November 24, 2018.

Born in Boston, a daughter of the late John and Irene (McCauliffe) Howard, Betty was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School. She worked many years for John Hancock and was also a member of the Daughter’s of Isabella. 

Beloved mother of  David A. Howard and his wife, Lynn, of Weymouth. Sister of Dolly Florentino of Somerville, Phyllis Beauregard of Worcester, and the late Irene Connolly, Marjorie Salustro, Patricia Motherway, John, William, Walter, Arthur, Victor, Herbert, Donald, and Robert Howard.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, 55 Warren Street, Charlestown, at 10 AM Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice House, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
