Meuse, Eleanor R. (Kelly) of Quincy, died August 9, 2017.
Beloved mother of Elaine Doyle and her husband Jim of S.C., Joanne Meuse of Medford, Melanie Meuse-Warg and her husband Mark of Arkansas, Duane Meuse and his companion Betty O’Neill of Marshfield and Kelly Fleming and her husband Ed of Quincy. Devoted Grammy of Kelly, Michael, Tristan, Annamieka, Holly, Mira, Breannon, Lexia, Hannah, Ryan and Aidan. Cherished Great Grammy of Egan, Fiona and Elora. Loving sister of the late Mary Ganong, Joan MacRae and Ann Santos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor grew up in Mission Hill and lived in Wareham before moving to Quincy. She was a hard working, outgoing woman with a personality that no one would forget. She enjoyed traveling to visit her children and to Ireland to visit the land of her heritage. As a younger person, Eleanor was active in the Democratic Party and was never afraid to voice her opinions. Her main passion in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she would sing her favorite line “I love you a bushel and a peck with a hug around the neck”. In memory of Eleanor, enjoy a cold beer with your family and friends. Eleanor will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10 AM.
