Eleanor C. (Freyer) Keenan, of Weymouth, died October 25, 2020. Eleanor was born in New York City and moved to Boston to marry James in 1964, they settled in Weymouth to raise their family. Eleanor was a longtime parishioner of St. Jerome Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a past member of the Weymouth Eagles. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, playing bingo and enjoying time with her family and friends. Eleanor spent winters in Lake Alfred, Florida where she was blessed with many friends. She will be deeply missed.

Beloved wife of 52 years to the late James Keenan. Devoted mother of Mary Ellen Gallo and her husband Chris of Hanover, Kathleen Zewiey and her late husband Mark of Weymouth, Jennifer Miller and her late husband Kevin of Weymouth and James Keenan, Jr. of Abington. Cherished Gramma of Joe, Kristen and Vanessa Gallo, Jordane, Destinee, Rachael, Tanya and Noah Zewiey, Janine and Brett Miller and great-grandchildren Juilen and Mia Gallo and Elijah Dacosta. Loving sister of Bobby and Billy Freyer of NJ and the late Jackie and Charlie Freyer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation at 9:30 AM in St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge Street, Weymouth MA 02191. A Funeral Mass will follow in the church at 10:30 AM.
