Edward T. Palardy

Edward T. Palardy, of Whitman, passed away on May 11, 2017.

Edward was a proud veteran serving with the U.S. Army as a 2nd LT., in the Korean War. He was an active member of the American Legion and well known for his service not only to his country, but to his community and family. He spent many years as a Youth Counselor for the Pilgrim Center in Braintree and also worked for Mainspring House for the homeless, in Brockton. Ed was well known for his beautiful voice, singing in many church choirs, weddings and funerals. He will best be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family. The quality time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren was always in the spirit of fun, adventure, and undying love. Ed will be dearly missed by all those that knew him.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Pauline C. (Cassani) Palardy. Loving father of Andrea Millis and her husband, Joseph, of Kingston, Thomas Palardy and his wife, Marie, of Mansfield,and Michele Anthony and her husband, David, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Brother of Annette White of Stratham, NH. Grandfather of Stephanie, Ryan, Jessica, Brianna, Kaylee, Gabriel, and Noah. Great Grandfather of Frank Paul and Ava Marie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Ghost Church, in  Whitman, at 10 AM. Burial will follow in High Street Cemetery, Whitman.
