Edna O’Toole

O’Toole, Edna of Braintree, died February 16, 2017 after a long illness. 

Edna was a former member of the Sisters of Charity.  Later, she retired from Mass General Hospital where she worked as a receptionist.  Edna will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Loving daughter of the late Mary (Maher) and Thomas O’Toole.  Devoted sister of the late Helen O’Toole, Anna Lowry, Mary Grillo, Thomas O’Toole, Paul O’Toole, John O’Toole, Judy O’Toole and Frank O’Toole.  Also survived by many other cherished family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. 

The family of Edna would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Sunrise in Braintree, John Adams Health Care in Quincy and Compassionate Hospice for their devoted care over these past few months.
