Dr. Ching Ling Kung (Lee)

God’s warm stroke of lightning peacefully swept loving Mother, doting Grandmother, Dr. Ching Ling Kung (Lee) Home on May 4, 2017.

Courageously, she shuttled her family out of the Chinese Revolution and started a new life in the United States in the late seventies. Dr. Kung bravely embraced her new home in America without knowledge of a single word of English, but gloriously triumphed through adult English classes while establishing security for her family. Educated and trained as a medical doctor in China, Dr. Kung practiced acupuncture in the Boston area for nearly 3 decades. She lectured extensively in China as well as the USA.  She is an honorary member of the Helunjiang Traditional Chinese Medical Society and the International Acupuncture Society in Beijing, China.

Dr. Kung has lived a good life, a full life, overcoming adversity, embracing the good, loving her family fiercely and her friends so faithfully.  Cheers of Mom and Grandma will be carried on by grandchildren Victoria, Luc,  and Tati and by children Andrew and Mary.
