Shaw, Dorothy L. (Ogden), born in Calais, ME,  lifelong resident of Weymouth, passed away peacefully at the Colonial Nursing Home, May 23, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene B. Shaw, Jr. Loving mother of Kevin P. Shaw of NH, Deidre Cochrane of Hanson, Lynne Lundin and her husband Rodney of Weymouth, Stephen Shaw and his wife Frannie of ME and Eugene Shaw III and his wife Sandra of Hanson. Dear sister of the late Richard Ogden, Beverly Shaw, Robert O’Leary and Frank O’ Leary.  Cherished grandmother of Kevin Shaw, John Crowell, Heather Cochrane, Erin Foster, Elissa Lundin, Stephanie Lundin, Jennifer Shaw, Stephen Shaw, Michael Shaw, William Shaw, Fiona Shaw, Kelsie Shaw and the late Paul Shaw.  Dorothy is also lovingly survived by 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dorothy was a waitress for many years for Howard Johnson’s Restaurant.  Co-owner, with her husband, Eugene, of Portobello USA Antique Shop in Jackson Square, Dorothy was an expert vintage jewelry dealer as well as collector of fine antiques and books.  They regularly traveled to various flea markets and antique show to sell their merchandise. Dorothy loved to sew and made beautiful clothes for her family and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8PM with a funeral service at 7PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.). Relatives and friends will gather on Friday at 10AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St. (off Rt. 3A-Bicknell Sq.), Weymouth. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
